Scholarship Description:

Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship – the University of Tsukuba is open for WorldBank Member Developing Countries. The scholarship allows Masters 24 Months level program(s) in the field of Economics, Public Policy taught at the University of Tsukuba Japan. The deadline for the scholarship is 05 Feb 2022.

The University of Tsukuba was established in the year 1877 in Tsukuba, Ibaraki. It’s one of the oldest national universities as well as the most comprehensive research universities in Japan. The university has a profound academic strength in Science, Engineering, Technology, Medicine, Mathematics,  physical education, and other related interdisciplinary fields.

The University of Tsukuba ranks 14th best universities nationally according to the Tokyo Keizai ranking system, 12th in Asia, and 250 worldwide according to THE ranking system. The university is recognized as the 10th best research institution among all the universities and other research institutions in Japan.

The name of the degree is M.A. in International Public Policy.

Eligible Nationalities:

Citizens of eligible developing countries among the world bank member countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a superior academic record.
• Have at least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience (acquired after a university degree) at the time of application. Proficiency in oral and written English communication skills to be able to pursue studies.
• Be in good health.
• Agree to return to his/her home country after completion of studies under the Program.
