Eligibility:
Applicants should be individuals who can demonstrate a track record of community engagement and who can demonstrate how their degree will make a difference to the lives and community around them. When applying for the University of East Anglia scholarships, you must already be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer for the first year of an undergraduate degree course starting at UEA in September 2020. Your offer should state that you are an international fee-paying student. To be classified as an international fee-paying student you would need to be a non-EU resident. See the official website (link found below) for more details of who will pay international tuition fees.
You will also need to be independently funding your studies. It means that you cannot apply if an organisation is sponsoring your study and paying your tuition fees. But those who will be receiving government loans can still apply for this scholarship. Studies in the following courses are ineligible: medicine, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Students who are currently studying a Foundation course in the UK are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Although, students can apply for UEA’s International Foundation Scholarships.
